Box Score Amanda Nelms and Tory Suchoza both netted two first half goals
to send Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer to a 6-0 win over
Bluefield College in Rocky Mount Saturday. The Yellow Jackets
finish the NCWC Women's Fall Classic 2-0 and outscored
opponents 11-1 over the two games.
R-MC took a 1-0 lead just ten minutes in when Amanda Nelms
scored on an Ashley Malinowski pass.
Tory Suchoza extended the Yellow Jackets lead to 3-0 after
finding the back of the net twice in a 28 second span.
Ashley Lambers and Nelms tacked on two more goals for
Randolph-Macon before halftime, stretching the Jackets' lead
to 5-0.
Keeper China Bradley and the Yellow Jacket defense held
Bluefield to just one shot on goal for the game. R-MC led 19-9 in
shots and edged BC 8-1 in corner kicks.
Erin Hauser scored Randolph-Macon's lone second half goal
to make the final 6-0
The Yellow Jackets return to the field Wednesday, September
15th when they host the University of Mary Washington at
4:00.
