Box Score Lynchburg College scored two goals early in the second half to get past Randolph-Macon Field Hockey (13-7 / 6-1 ODAC) 2-0 in the ODAC Tournament Championship game on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets finish the 2010 season 13-7 overall which ties the program record for most wins in a season.
R-MC held off the Hornets' first half attack with keeper Nicole Woodworth stopping all five of LC's shots on goal.
Lynchburg cracked the scoreboard two minutes after halftime when Kelli Williams scored on a pass from Shelly Milks. Williams struck again five minutes later with another goal, this time on a pass from Kristina Morris.

Seniors Mary McCarthy, Monica Jenkins and Erin Clare Cassidy were all named to the 2010 ODAC All-Tournament team.
Randolph-Macon finishes a successful 2010 season going 13-7 overall and 6-1 in the conference, good for second place in the ODAC standings. The Yellow Jackets also tied the program record for wins in a season last set in 1999.
