Box Score Bridgewater's Brittney Harris broke up a scoreless tie in
the 96th minute to send the Eagles past Randolph-Macon
Women's Soccer (5-4-2 / 2-2-2 ODAC) 1-0 in Ashland
Wednesday.
After a scoreless first half, the Yellow Jackets went on the
offensive early in the second but could not find the back of the
net.
The R-MC defense defended against 16 Bridgewater shots in
regulation with keeper China Bradley making four saves to send the
contest to overtime.
BC's Harris fired a shot into the top corner of the goal
six minutes into the first overtime period to give the Eagles a 1-0
win.
Randolph-Macon held a 7-1 advantage in corners while Bridgewater
edged the Jackets 20-8 in shots.
The Yellow Jackets will host Emory & Henry Saturday, October
9th at 11:00 am.
