Box Score Ashley Malinowski gave Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer
(6-7-3 / 3-5-3 ODAC) a 1-0 halftime advantage but Roanoke scored
three second half goals to take the 3-1 win in Salem on
Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets offense struck in the 23rd minute
when the senior Malinowski found the back of the net after an R-MC
miss.
Randolph-Macon's 1-0 lead held until the second when
Rebekah Adams scored unassisted from just in front of the
goals.
The Maroons' took the lead in the 68th minute
on a goal by Steph Parenteau before Adams sealed the win with her
second score of the contest.
Roanoke held an 18-10 advantage in shot while both teams took
three corner kicks.
Randolph-Macon will now enter the ODAC Tournament which begins
October 30th. Pairings will be announced later this
week.
