VIRGINIA BEACH – The Randolph-Macon Volleyball team improved to 18-5 overall and 8-1 in the ODAC with a 3-1 road win at Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday night. VWC drops to 15-8 and 6-2 in the league.

R-MC, which won by game scores of 25-18, 22-25, 26-24, 25-19, got a team-high 13 kills and 15 digs from Mallory Carter. Jessica Sears also posted double digits in both categories with 10 kills and 13 stops on the defensive end.

Raena Winton also had seven kills, while Sam Block had 20 assists and Courtney Anderson had 16 helpers.

Defensively, Tori Puryear had 10 total blocks with a pair of solo stops and eight assisted blocks. Casey West also had two solo blocks and eight assisted on the evening.

Randolph-Macon will close out ODAC play on Saturday when it hosts Lynchburg at 11:00 a.m.
