Winton and Carter Power R-MC past NC Wesleyan

ASHLAND, VA - The Randolph-Macon volleyball team continued its
best start in school history Wednesday night with a 3-0 win over
North Carolina Wesleyan to improve its record to 13-1 on the
season. R-MC won by game scores of 25-21, 25-13 and 25-23.
The Jackets got 12 kills from Raena Winton and 11 kills from
Mallory Carter to lead the offense. Jessica Sears chipped in with
eight kills, while April Hines added seven. Savanna Love dished out
23 assists on the night and Sam Block had 11 helpers.
Defensively, Sears led the way with 15 digs, Jill Kubichan had
14 stops and Carter added eight. Hines and Casey West each had two
blocks at the net for R-MC.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action at home on Saturday at
11:00 a.m. when they take on ODAC rival Bridgewater.
