Yellow Jacket Volleyball Earns 3-0 Road Win at St.
Mary's

ST, MARY'S, MD - Randolph-Macon's Mallory Carter recorded a
team-high 10 kills and a match high 11 digs as she led the
Yellow Jackets to a, 3-0, non-conference road win at St. Mary's of
Maryland Wednesday evening. R-MC, which is now 2-0 on the season,
defeated SMC by game scores of 25-19, 25-23 and 25-17.
Mallory James and April Hines complimented Carter's performance
on offense with eight and seven kills, respectively. The setting
tandem of Sam Block and Savanna Love directed the offense with a
combined 36 assists in the victory. Block notched 17 helpers, while
Love had 16 assists of her own.
Defensively, Jessica Sears and Love each had seven digs, while
Hines and James each had four blocks for the Jackets.
Randolph-Macon will be back in action on Friday when it travels
to the Gettysburg College Tournament. R-MC will take on Richard
Stockton at 3:00 p.m., followed by a match with PSU-Harrisburg at
5:00 p.m.
