Randolph-Macon Downs Guilford 3-0 in ODAC Conference
Opener
GREENSBORO, NC-- MaryCarol Davis' unassisted
goal in the 36th minute proved to be the game winner as
R-MC Women's Soccer remained unbeaten at Guilford Saturday.
Guilford falls to 1-4 on the season and 0-1 in the ODAC.
Brittany Jones put the Yellow Jackets up 2-0 with an unassisted
goal in the 44th minute.
R-MC increased their lead to 3-0 in the second half on a goal
from Erin Hauser. Hauser now leads the Yellow Jackets in goals with
six.
Randolph-Macon Keeper China Bradley earned the shutout and
collected five saves.
The Yellow Jackets edged the Quakers 16-15 in shots with a 10-5
advantage in shots on goal. R-MC led Guilford 5-3 in corner kicks.
Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer travels to Virginia Wesleyan
Tuesday, September 15th for a 7:00 p.m. match. Guilford
visits Methodist Wednesday, September 16th for a 3:00
p.m. match.
