Lynchburg Uses Second Half Goals to Get Past R-MC

LYNCHBURG, VA - Keeper Mary Jocelyn (Virginia
Beach, VA/ Bayside) stopped nine shots but, Lynchburg scored three
second half goals to get by Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer 3-0 in
Lynchburg Wednesday. R-MC finishes tied for fourth in the
conference with a 7-4 ODAC record and 11-5 overall.
The Yellow Jackets played stingy defense in the first half to
take a 0-0 tie into halftime.
Lynchburg broke the scoreless on a goal from Joanie Snyder in
the 49th minutes. Shelley Hoath would tack on two more
goals for the Hornets to take the 3-0 victory.
LC held a 29-6 advantage in shots and a 16-2 edge in corner
kicks.
Randolph-Macon Women's Soccer will be back in action Saturday,
October 31st, when they travel to Lynchburg again as the
6th seed in the ODAC tournament quarterfinals. Game time
is to be announced.
