Randolph-Macon Rallies Past North Carolina Wesleyan

ROCKY MOUNT, NC-After losing the first game 23-25,
Randolph-Macon Volleyball rallied to win the next three 25-17,
25-19, and 25-15 in Rocky Mount Monday. R-MC is now 21-5 overall
and 8-1 in the ODAC.
Jessica Sears (Newport News, VA/ Menchville) sparked the Yellow
Jacket rally by serving ten consecutive points early in game two.
Sears recorded three aces on 33 serving attempts for the R-MC
victory.
Raena Winton (Magnolia, TX/ Waller) and Sears had 13 kills each
while April Hines Suffolk, VA/ Nansemond) added 11.
Randolph-Macon Senior Savanna Love (Clifton, VA/ Robinson
Secondary) totaled 22 assists. Sam Block (Charlottesville, VA/
Albermarle) contributed with 17 helpers.
Defensively for the Yellow Jackets, Casey West (Richmond, VA/
Hermitage) recorded two solo blocks and assisted on four others.
Sears also had two solo blocks along with an assisted block.
Jill Kubichan's (Chesapeake, VA/ Great Bridge) 24 digs was a
team high with Sears' 23 a close second.
Randolph-Macon Volleyball will host Randolph College Wednesday,
October 28th at 7:00 p.m. for their final regular season
home match. Before Wednesday's match the Yellow Jackets will honor
their six senior players.
