R-MC Field Hockey Downs Shenandoah 4-0 for Sixth
Straight Win
WINCHESTER,
VA-Four different Yellow Jackets recorded goals as
Randolph-Macon Field Hockey defeated Shenandoah 4-0, extending
their winning streak to six games. R-MC is now 6-8 overall with a
2-2 ODAC record.
Senior Midfielder Nicole Klee put
the Yellow Jackets on the board first with an unassisted goal in
the 15th minute.
Klee assisted Monica Jenkins and
Kendall Lam for goals early in the second half, giving R-MC a 3-0
advantage.
Caitlin Titsworth extended the
Randolph-Macon lead to 4-0 with an unassisted goal in the
62nd minute.
The Yellow Jackets outshot the
Hornets 16-3 and held a 17-2 advantage in penalty corners.
Randolph-Macon Field Hockey will be
back in action Saturday, October 17th, when they host
Eastern Mennonite for an 11:00 a.m. game.
