R-MC Men Extend Streak to 11 with an 83-76 ODAC Road Win

ASHLAND, VA - The Randolph-Macon men's basketball team ran its
winning streak to 11 games on Saturday afternoon with a 93-76 ODAC
road win at Emory & Henry College.
R-MC (12-3 / 6-0 ODAC) was led by Justin Short who had a game-high
18 points on 5-of-8 shots from the field. Danny Jones came off the
bench for 17 points, which is a season high for Jones and one shy
of a career-best. Brandon Braxton and Boris Varela each had 13
points, while Billy Campion grabbed a team-high five rebounds to
help R-MC to a 39-27 edge on the glass.
Jarell Christian who had 18 points led Emory & Henry (7-9 /
1-6 ODAC) in scoring. Reserves Robert Hudson Josh Lee had 17 and 10
points, respectively on the afternoon. E&H shot 44% from
the floor but were just 8-of-23 from beyond the three-point arc.
Randolph-Macon returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to
ODAC rival Virginia Wesleyan for a 7:00 p.m. ODAC game.
