Washington and Lee Upends R-MC Volleyball 3-0
ASHLAND, VA - In a battle of teams unbeaten in league play,
Washington and Lee secured the top-seed in the upcoming ODAC
Volleyball Tournament with a 3-0 victory over Randolph-Macon
Wednesday night in Lexington, Va. W&L topped R-MC (23-8 / 9-1
ODAC) by game scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-19.
April Hines led R-MC with eight kills, while Jordan Huber
chipped in with six of her own. Sam Block and Savanna Love had 15
and 11 assists, respectively for the Jackets. Jill Kubichan led the
defense with 15 digs.
Randolph-Macon will return to action on Tuesday night when
it welcomes Chowan University for its regular season finale in
Crenshaw Gymnasium. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
