No. 3 Lynchburg Downs R-MC, Yellow Jackets Prepare for Rematch

ASHLAND - Two Hornets recorded hat tricks as Lynchburg College defeated Randolph-Macon in the final day of ODAC women's soccer play on Wednesday. LC's Katie Santos and Betsy Kwiatkowski each netted three goals. The Hornets jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first thirty minutes of action and added two more tallies in the second half.

 Despite the loss, Randolph-Macon earned a berth in the ODAC Tournament. The Yellow Jackets will face the Hornets, this time in Lynchburg, on Saturday afternoon in the quarterfinal round.
