R-MC Stays Unbeaten in ODAC with 3-0 Win at
Bridgewater
HARRISONBURG, VA - Randolph-Macon College notched its
10th win in a row and its 15th victory in its
last 16 matches with a 3-0 ODAC road win at Bridgewater College
Wednesday night.
R-MC which is now 17-5 overall and 7-0 in the ODAC won by game
scores of 25-18, 25-13 and 25-21. BC falls to 17-6 overall and 4-4
in the league.
The Jackets got eight kills from Maggie Horn, while Kendra
Smith, Mallory James and Raena Winton each had five. Savanna Love
(16) and Sam Block (13) combined for 29 assists on the night as
well.
Defensively, April Hines notched two solo blocks
and five assists blocks, Smith had one solo stop and eight assisted
blocks and Jill Kubichan had 16 digs in the win.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action on Friday when it travels
to Greensboro College for a 7:00 p.m. match.
