Randolph-Macon Volleyball Snares Eighth Straight Victory
with 3-0 Win over Catholic
ASHLAND, VA - The Randolph-Macon volleyball team notched its eighth
win in a row as it topped regional rival Catholic University 3-0
Wednesday night in Ashland.
R-MC (15-5), which won by game scores of 25-21, 25-12 and 25-9,
were paced by Alix Macrae who had a team-high nine kills. Raena
Winton, Kendra Smith and Maggie Horn all had five kills as well.
Sam Block and Savanna Love had 22 and 11 assists, respectively in
the victory, while April Hines had six blocks and Jill Kubichan had
15 digs on the defensive side of the net.
The Yellow Jackets will be back in action next Tuesday when they
host Sweet Briar College at 7:00 p.m. in ODAC action.
