Molly Grube begins her first season as assistant coach of the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in 2026, serving as a pitching coach for the Lemon and Black.

Molly grew up in the Richmond area and attended Manchester High School, where she was named a 2018 & 2019 VHSL first team all-state selection, 2019 6A player of the year, 2019 Richmond Times Dispatch All-Metro Player of the year, and 2019 RTD Sports Backers Scholar Athlete of the Year. She was also the first player in VHSL history to hit 4 homeruns in a single game, holding a state record. After her highschool career, she pitched at the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce. While playing for the Hoos, she held a career 3.57 ERA over 218 innings pitched, including 50 starts. Her junior season, after an off-season surgery and shortened season, she came back early to notch a win over #2 ranked Virginia Tech. She was named a 4-time ACC Academic Honor Roll recipient. After graduating from UVA, she attended JMU, pursuing a master's in Sport and Recreation Leadership, while competing for the Dukes. She pitched 28.2 innings at JMU over 14 games, including 6 starts, as a red-shirt senior in 2024. She was named to the Sun Belt Commissioner's List and JMU Athletic Director's Scholar-Athlete List. She has been a softball instructor, specializing in pitching, for the past 5 years in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg, and she is very excited to bring her passion for the game back to the Richmond area.
