Jason Engle joined the Randolph-Macon Sports Medicine department as the Head Football Athletic Trainer in Fall 2020. His primary sports coverage at RMC includes Football, Men’s Basketball and Men’s & Women’s tennis.

Prior to RMC, Engle worked as an athletic trainer at Collegiate School in Richmond, Va. He worked with the Cougars' athletic programs, which included 80 teams from grades 7 through 12. Engle also collaborated with school nurses to provide care for students, faculty, and staff during the school day. He was able to certify faculty, staff, and students in CPR, first aid and AED use through the American Red Cross. Engle also worked multiple camps on RMC's campus.

Prior to his time at Collegiate School, Engle worked for seven years as an athletic trainer at Richmond/Ashland Physical Therapy, working with Dr. Matt Pulisic '87. Engle assisted the physical therapists in the daily treatment of patients. He was also contracted to Collegiate School to cover their athletic teams.

Engle earned his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University in 2005 and his Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana State University 2006. He received a Level One Dry Needling Certification through Master Dry Needling in May 2021.
