Jack Wilson Headshot 2026 WVB

Jack Wilson

Jack Wilson was named the newest Head Coach for Women's Volleyball in March of 2026.

Wilson joins Randolph-Macon following a highly successful tenure at Rutgers University–Newark, where he served as head coach and compiled an overall record of 48-10 across three seasons (2019-22). During his time with the program, Wilson guided the team to national prominence, including a top five national ranking and the 2022 Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) Championship. His leadership produced four American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Americans, along with multiple All-Conference honorees. In recognition of his accomplishments, Wilson was named AVCA East Region Coach of the Year on two occasions.

Wilson is no stranger to Randolph-Macon, having previously served as an assistant coach for the men's volleyball program from 2022-24. His familiarity with the institution and its athletics department culture provides a strong foundation as he assumes leadership of the women's volleyball program.

In addition to his success on the court, Wilson has demonstrated a strong commitment to the development of student-athletes. His approach emphasizes academic achievement, leadership growth, and personal accountability, aligning closely with Randolph-Macon's institutional values.

Wilson has extensive experience in all facets of program administration, including recruiting, scheduling, budget management, compliance, and alumni engagement. Prior to his role at Rutgers University–Newark, he served as an assistant coach at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he supported recruiting initiatives, coordinated practices, and assisted with team operations.
