Christian Berry joins the Randolph-Macon College football coaching staff after gaining coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level with Kent State University. Berry served as a graduate assistant with the Golden Flashes in 2026, assisting with film breakdown, opponent scouting, tendency analysis, recruiting operations, practice planning and scout team execution. He also contributed to the academic monitoring and mentorship of student-athletes.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Berry was a Division I student-athlete at Davidson College and Kent State University. At Davidson, he earned All-Conference honors and was actively involved in recruiting, conducting campus tours and participating in official visits with prospective student-athletes and their families. He later served as a captain at Kent State, helping communicate program culture, academic expectations and standards of athlete development while assisting new student-athletes with their transition to the program. Berry graduated from Davidson College with a bachelor's degree in Communications and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Kent State University.
Berry also gained experience in collegiate athletics through the Davidson College Athletic Department, where he worked with gameday operations and marketing staff on event execution, fan engagement and sponsor activations. He was also active in Davidson Football Service, volunteering with local community initiatives including Room at the Inn and Blythe Elementary. In addition, Berry worked as a real estate intern with Allen Tate Realtors, gaining experience in marketing, client engagement and public events.
