Cade is in his first season as a cornerbacks coach with the Randolph-Macon College football program after a decorated four-year playing career with the Yellow Jackets from 2019-23. A standout defensive back and safety, Cade earned VaSID First Team All-State honors twice and was a three-time First Team All-ODAC selection. He also earned VaSID Second Team All-State and Third Team All-Region honors and helped lead Randolph-Macon to an NCAA Division III Semifinal appearance in 2023. A team captain during his senior season, Cade served as a leader on and off the field and was a key contributor to the program's success.
Throughout his playing career, Cade served on the team's Leadership Council and as a platoon leader, helping communicate team goals, strengthen team culture and provide insight to the coaching staff. He graduated from Randolph-Macon in December 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminology. Cade also brings experience working with young athletes, having previously served as a youth football mentor, where he focused on technique, football IQ, mechanics and confidence development.
Following his playing career, Cade worked as a firefighter with the City of Wilmington, N.C., where he developed his communication, teamwork and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments. He currently serves as a substitute teacher with Prince William County Public Schools, working with high school students and supporting diverse academic needs. Cade has also volunteered as a youth football mentor, providing individualized instruction focused on fundamentals, technique, football IQ and confidence.
