Brett Lysohir was added to the Athletic Training Staff in 2024.
Lysohir comes to RMC from having spent the past year at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center at Coker University in Hartsville, S.C. where he worked with approximately 120 student-athletes for treatment, rehab, and coverage. As a graduate student at the University of Virginia, Brett assisted the RMC Athletic Training staff with Men's Lacrosse and Baseball, allowing him to be familiar with Ashland prior to his arrival on campus. Lysohir has previously worked with premiere athletic programs such as the volleyball and swim & dive teams at the University of Florida, as well as football, women's lacrosse, and swim & dive at Virginia.Â
Brett began his collegiate career playing baseball at the University of Charleston in West Virginia before heading to the ODAC to play outfield at Bridgewater College for the remainder of his undergraduate years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Bridgewater in 2020. Lysohir moved on to Charlottesville where he graduated with a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the Curry School of Education and Human Development.
