As a senior (2015): Lowers was the first student-athlete in R-MC Volleyball history to receive a spot on the All-American list. An All-South Region selection and three-time ODAC player of the week this season, she rewrote the record books, finishing the season as Randolph-Macon's all-time leader in kills with 1,478 and surpassing her own single season record of 492 kills in 2014 with 506 (4.48 per set) in 2015, third in ODAC history...She is the first player in the ODAC to reach 500 kills since 2004...Lowers was named the ODAC Player of the Year for the second straight season, and she was honored as the Most Outstanding Player of the Galloway Regional, as the Yellow Jackets went 3-0 to advance to the National Quarterfinals...She totaled 63 kills and 20 blocks in those three NCAA Tournament games.
As a junior (2014): Lowers led the team for the second-consecutive year and the ODAC with 492 kills (eighteenth in the nation), averaging 4.60 kills per set (fifth in the nation)...She appeared in 107 sets in 31 matches in her third season...Courtney led the team in service aces with 35 including a season-high four against Hollins (10/2)...She was second on the team with 324 digs, averaging 3.03 digs per set...Courtney finished the season third on the team with 40 blocks...Lowers was named Honorable Mention All-American, First Team All-Region, VaSID First Team All-State, ODAC Player of the Year, First Team All-ODAC and 3x ODAC Player of the Week...Courtney was named to the ODAC All-Academic Team for her accomplishments in the classroom.
As a sophomore (2013): First Team All-ODAC...Lowers led the Jackets with 265 kills (2.62 per set), good enough for 9th in the ODAC...She ranked 5th in hitting percentage with .294.
As a freshman (2012): Lowers earned Third-Team All ODAC honors as a member of the Yellow Jacket's volleyball program ... The freshman ranked second on the team in kills with 191 (2.01 per set) and hit at a .246 clip ... Lowers posted a team best 25 solo blocks on the season, which also ranked second in the league ... She notched a career high 17 kills in the 3-2 loss to regional champion CNU and was named to the NCAA Volleyball Regional All-Tournament team.
Personal: Lettered all four years in volleyball at Nansemond River High School … earned All-District Honors three years in a row … three time team MVP and Captain … member of the National Honor Society.
