Biography

As a Senior (2019)

  • All-ODAC First Team
  • IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region Second Team
  • VaSID All-State Second Team
  • Top 10 mark in the ODAC for goals scored at 45, which also led team
  • Added seven assists to total 52 points
  • Shot on goal nearly 67% of the time
  • Won 73 draw controls, which was also a Top 10 mark in the conference
  • Collected 19 ground balls and earned 12 caused turnovers
  • Scored the game-winning goal with 21 seconds left in a 13-12 win against Roanoke in the ODAC semifinals

As a Junior (2018)

  • Started all 18 games for the Yellow Jackets, tallying 42 goals on the season
  • Was second on the team in goals, ninth in the ODAC, and third in total points with 47
  • Had a career-best seven goals in a 15-14 conference win at Shenandoah
  • Was also second on the team and seventh in the league in DC with 69 and shots on goal with 60
  • Had a career-high nine draw controls in a 17-10 win at Bridgewater
  • Was named Second Team All-ODAC and was selected ODAC Player of the Week

As a Sophomore (2017)

  • Played in all 17 games for the Yellow Jackets, starting nine of them
  • Was named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team
  • Finished the season with 23 goals and six assists and her 23 goals were good for third on the team
  • Had 25 ground balls, good for fourth on the team and 38 draw controls put her second on the team
  • Started the season strong with her season-high five points in the opening day win over Frostburg St. (2/25) with three goals and two assists while also picking up two ground balls and winning two draw controls in that game
  • Had a season-high five draw controls in an Apr. 12 win over Shenandoah while also adding two goals and an assist in that game.

As a Freshman (2016)

  • Played in all 18 games for the Yellow Jackets at midfield
  • Scored 12 goals with two assists, fielded 10 ground balls, and had 14 draw controls.

Personal: 

  • Attended Kent County High School where she played soccer, lacrosse and indoor track
  • In 2014, was named MVP and Bayside Conference Player of the Year
  • For indoor track, she was named co-MVP with her three sisters in the 2014-15 season
  • Was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with High Honors
  • Jones is a quadruplet, all of whom are attending R-MC.
  • Jones's sisters: Lexi '19 and Rachel '19 also play women's lacrosse
  • Parents, Scott and Deeann Jones, were both two-sport student athletes at Washington College.
  • Scott played basketball and baseball for the Shoremen and Deeann was on the crew team and swam for the Shorewomen
