Biography
As a junior (2016-17): Marisha appeared in 27 games for the Yellow Jackets last season starting 6 of them and averaging 18.5 minutes per game...She averaged 6.1 points per game, 2.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.2 steals...Her 58 steals were tied for the team lead this season and her 64 assists were good for second on the team...Marisha scored in double digits 5 times this season...Berry also came up big in the big moments, none bigger than knocking down a game-winning 3 pointer in a home win over Lynchburg with 3 seconds left in the game to give the Yellow Jackets the win in overtime...Scored a season-high 17 points in an away win at Shenandoah on Jan. 17 while also adding 3 rebounds and 4 assists...Marisha scored 15 points in a win against Edgewood on Dec. 20 while also swiping a season-high 8 steals and dishing out 2 assists...She also dished out a season-high 7 assists in a loss against Eastern Mennonite (2/14) while also adding 5 points.
As a sophomore (2014-15): Berry played in all 25 games, averaging 11.2 minutes, 3.8 points, and 1.8 rebounds per game…she achieved a season-high of 14 points against Virginia Wesleyan (2/3) and Shenandoah (2/18)… Marisha finished the season fourth on the team in steals with 27, averaging 1.3 steals per game and had a season-high six steals against Hollins (2/7)
As a freshman (2013-14): Berry appeared in 21 games and averaged 12.3 minutes per game...She recorded a R-MC record-high 9 steals against Virginia Wesleyan (2/4) and pulled down 9 rebounds against Eastern Mennonite (1/28/14)...Berry ended the season with 57 points, 49 rebounds, and 28 steals.
