Personal

• Leara attended Wilson Memorial High School where she played basketball, volleyball and was a member of the track and cross country teams
• She helped the Hornets claim three conference championships, two regional championships and one state championship for cross country
• The Hornets claimed the conference and regional championships during each of her prep years and were the state runner-ups in 2013 and 2015
• Leara received the Hornet Award for basketball and was a two-time recipient of the Hornet Award for track
• She was a member of the improv club
• Leara intends to pursue a degree in biology.
