As a junior (2014-15): In her third season for the Yellow Jackets, Vugteveen appeared in 21 games, earning a start against Bridgewater (1/20)…Lauren averaged 4.6 points and five rebounds per game…She registered season-high and a double-double against Emory and Henry with 22 points and 13 rebounds (2/14)…Vugteveen led the team and finished third in the ODAC for blocks, averaging 1.3 per game...Lauren tallied 97 points, 27 blocks, 105 rebounds (third on the team), and 15 steals for the season.

As a sophomore (2013-14): Vugteveen appeared in 26 of the 29 games averaging 155 minutes per game...She recorded her first double-double of the season against Randolph College ending the game with 11 points and 10 rebounds (01/14/14)...She recorded the second most rebounds for her team at 121 and finished the season with 147 points and 17 steals.

As a freshman (2012-13): Lauren made her first collegiate start against Catholic in the R-MC Tip-Off Classic where she recorded two points and three rebounds ... She notched a season high eight rebounds against Virginia Union (12/8/12).

Personal: Lauren attended Amelia Academy where she earned six varsity letters in both volleyball and basketball ... She helped lead her basketball team to two Conference Championship titles, State Semi-Finalists and a State Runner-Up title ... In 2011 she was awarded MVP, All Conference, All Tournament Team, and All State Honorable Mention ... In 2012 she reached the 1000 pt. mark and was awarded All Conference, All Tournament Team, First Team All State and was named team captain ... She was also named her high school's Salutatorian, a member of the Honor Roll and the Scholastic Bowl team, and was class Secretary in 2010-11 and VP in 2011-12 ... Lauren was also involved in the Science Club and Newspaper where she was on staff and an editor ... She plans to pursue a degree in Biology.
