As a Senior (2018-19)

• Started and appeared in 25 games for R-MC
• Tallied a career-high 18 points against Ferrum on February 2
• Averaged 6.2 points-per-game
• Made 1.8 steals-per-game, one of the top 15 marks in the ODAC this season
• Also averaged 1.8 rebounds-per-game and 1.6 assists-per-game
• Hit 30% of her field goal attempts and 20% of her three-point attempts

As a Junior (2017-18)

• Appeared in all 29 games for R-MC, starting in 27 of them
• Averaged 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game
• Second on the team in FT%, shooting 69.5%
• Season-high 17 points in the season opener against #14 Marymount along with 2 steals

As a Sophomore (2017-18)

• Jayla appeared in 24 games for the Yellow Jackets
• Averaged 9.3 minutes, 2.1 points, and 1.1 rebounds per game
• Scored a season-high 9 points in the Dec. 20 win over Edgewood where she went 5 for 6 from the line
• Grabbed 5 rebounds against #2 Amherst on Dec. 3 and also scored 5 points in that game.

As a Freshman (2016-17)

• Appeared in 25 games in her first year for the Yellow Jackets
• Averaged 3.8 points per game and a .360 field goal percentage
• Finished season 10-30 from behind the line, with a .333 three point percentage
• Had career best nine points, five steals and five rebounds, including four offensive rebounds, in win over Hollins (01/30/16).

High School

• Jayla attended Heritage High School where she lettered all four years in basketball
• She was named Honorable Mention All-District, Second Team All-Region and was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection during her prep years
• Jayla was on the A/B Honor Roll during each year in high school and was a member of the SADD club
