Randolph-Macon College

As a sophomore (2016-17): Dennis appeared in 25 games for the Yellow Jackets, starting 2 of them and and averaging 8.6 minutes per game...Averaged 1.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game...Scored 6 points in a Nov. 19 win over Greensboro going 3 for 4 from the line in that game...Pulled down 7 rebounds at Roanoke on Dec. 8 while adding 6 points in that game...Deja scored her season-high 8 points in a Feb. 16 win over Gallaudet going 4 for 5 from the floor (80%). 

As a freshman (2015-16):  Played in all 27 games in her first year for the Yellow Jackets... Had a career best nine points in game versus Shenandoah (02/02/16)... Averaged 2.7 points per game, and 2.1 rebounds per game... Had eight points, five steals and five rebounds in win over Randolph (01/27/16).

Personal: Deja attended Western School of Technology and Environmental Science where she played basketball...She helped the Wolverines claim the Regional Championship in 2012,2013 and 2015 and the State Championship in 2013...Deja was named MVP of the Oakland Mills Holiday Tournament...She received the Hustle Award in 2014 and was nominated to represent the school in the Senior County All-Star game in 2015.

Deja received several awards for her academic accomplishments...She received the Morgan State Basketball Academy Academic Award and the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Deja intends to pursue a degree in engineering physics.
