Randolph-Macon College

As a sophomore (2015): Kelsey appeared in 12 games for the Yellow Jackets, starting in all 12 of them.  She finished the season with a 6-6 record while recording 17 strikeouts.  Kelsey threw a season-high seven innings against Methodist on March 25 with three strikeouts and the win on that day. Kelsey was second on the team in wins and innings pitched with 63.2...Kelsey was named to the ODAC All-Academic Team for her accomplishments in the classroom.

As a freshman (2014): Kelsey started 22 games for the Yellow Jackets on the mound.  She finished the year with a 2.64 ERA and threw 145 innings.  Kelsey recorded 76 strikeouts on the season while only walking 25 batters.  She finished the season with a 16-7 record.  Kelsey was named to the Third Team All-ODAC this season.  She set a career-high with 7 strikeouts in a game against Mary Washinton (3/11).

Personal: Kelsey attended Douglas Freeman High School where she played softball and basketball...She was the starting pitcher for the Rebels during her high school career...She was a three-time Second Team All-District selection and was named First Team All-District as a senior...Kelsey was named to the All-Academic Team during each of her prep years...She intends to pursue a degree in biology.

Kelsey's brother, Glenn McLaughlin '15, played baseball for R-MC.
