As a junior (2015): Katie appeared in 36 games for the Yellow Jackets, starting all of them. She finished the season with a .385 batting average which was good for second on the team. Katie was also second on the team in doubles with nine, third in slugging percentage at .550, and tied for second in RBI's with 28. Katie was first on the team and in the ODAC in putouts with 257 as well as being second on the team in fielding percentage with a .975 percentage. Her game of the season came on March 25 against Randolph when she went 2-3 with three RBI's. Katie was named to the ODAC All-Tournament team for the second year in a row at first base after going 5-11 with five RBI's and one home run...Katie was named to the ODAC All-Academic Team for her accomplishments in the classroom.
As a sophomore (2014): Katie started all 38 games for the Yellow Jackets at first base. She finished the season hitting .304 with five home runs 35 hits and 31 RBIs. Katie was named to the All Tournament team at the ODAC tournament where she hit .429 with three doubles, one homer, and one run. She led the Jackets in the tournament with 11 RBIs. She had a season-high 4 RBIs in a game against Mary Washington (3/11) which she tied later in the year against Randolph (4/26).
As a freshman (2013): Katie started all 43 games for the Yellow Jackets finishing the season with a .297 batting average, with 5 home runs and 26 RBI's. Katie hit the 3 RBI mark twice against Virginia Wesleyan (3/27) in which she also had a home run, and against Virginia Wesleyan in the ODAC tournament (4/27) and also had a home run in that game.
Personal: Katie attended Patrick Henry High School where she earned four varsity letters in softball … She led her softball team to three Regular Season Championship titles, two District Tournament Championship titles, as well as a Regional and State Runner Up title … She was awarded Second Team All-District in 2010, First Team All-District in 2011, District Player of the Year, First Team All-Region, First Team All-Metro, and First Team All-State in 2012 … Katie was also a member of the DECA Club and she intends to pursue a degree in History.
