Biography

As a junior (’16):  Played in 44 games for the Yellow Jackets at 3B/2B...  Balcom averaged .274 with 20 RBIs.

Jen transferred to R-MC from Bridgewater College following the 2015 season.

At Bridgewater:

2015: Started all 38 games at third base...hit for a .282 average...tallied 14 RBIs...collected 35 hits... notched first home run in a win over Sweet Briar...posted .941 fielding percentage.

2014: Started all 40 games at third base...Tallied 21 hits...Posted a .919 fielding percentage at the hot corner...Turned three double plays.

Personal: Jen attended Powhatan High School where she lettered in softball...She was named First Team All-District and Second Team All-Region in 2012...Jen helped Powhatan reach the state tournament in each of her prep years...the Indians were state quarterfinalists in 2010.
