Biography
As a senior (2016-17): Carter swam in the 200, 500 and 1000 Free, 100 and 200 Breast and 200 IM for the Yellow Jackets...He finished fourth in 100 Breaststroke and fifth in the 200 breast at the ODAC Championships… Carter was named to the All-ODAC Second Team.
As a junior (2015-16): Carter swam in the 200, 500 and 1000 Free, 100 and 200 breast and 200 and 400 IM for the Yellow Jackets... He was named the ODAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year... He finished fourth in the 200 breast at the ODAC Championships... Carter was named to the All-ODAC Second Team.
As a sophomore (2014-15): Carter swam in the 100, 500, and 1000 free, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, and the 200 and 400 IM. Josh finished fifth in the ODAC for 100 free (1:01.73), 1000 free (10:29.45), and the 200 IM and fourth in the conference for the 200 breaststroke (2:16.51)…Carter earned Third Team All-ODAC.
As a freshman (2013-14): In his rookie season with the Yellow Jackets, Carter swam in the 200 medley relay, the 200, 500, and 1000 free, the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and the 400 IM…Josh came in first on two different occasions against Catholic in the 100 (1:12.59) and 200 (2:16.27) breast…Carter is currently the R-MC 200 Breast Record Holder.
Personal: Attended Atlee High School, where he was a member of the Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honor Society...Carter intends to pursue a major in engineering physics.
