Randolph-Macon and Head Coach J.B. Sheridan have announce the hiring of Kevin Mahon as an assistant coach of the Yellow Jackets Men's Lacrosse program. Mahon joins the staff after coming from the University of Vermont where he was an assistant coach since 2019.

While with the Catamounts, he led a faceoff unit that ranked third in division 1 in 2021 and fourth in 2022. He joined the Vermont staff after spending spring 2019 as an assitant for Monroe Woodbury and NY Reign Club Lacrosse. Mahon also has been an assistant coach for 802 Club Lacrosse since January 2021.

During his collegiate career, Mahon played at SUNY Oswego where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Childhood Education.

He is bringing championship experience from Vermont where he did an excellent job cultivating one of the best face-off units in Division I while learning from Coach Feifs’ great staff as well.  Kevin has stepped in and made a difference in our program immediately with his tireless work ethic.
