Randolph-Macon College

Jay Albaugh enters his fourth season at the helm of Randolph-Macon men's golf in 2024-25.

For 17 years prior to being hired at RMC in 2021, Albaugh served as Director of Golf at the College of William & Mary. He worked with both the men’s and women’s golf teams. Albaugh was twice named State Coach of the Year. He recruited and mentored 37 Academic All-Americans.

Since 2003, Albaugh has also served as Camp Director for Nike Golf Camps. He has overseen and managed the operation of week-long residential camps for golfers 10 to 18 years old.

In 1996, Albaugh earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s University. He was a member of the men’s golf team at The Mount. Albaugh received a Master of Arts in Sports Administration from Eastern Illinois University in 2003.

Albaugh is married to Leighann Albaugh, who started the R-MC women’s golf program.
