Biography

Patrick Toohey is in his third season on PedroArruza's staff and will spearhead mentoring of the offensiveline for the Yellow Jackets.

Prior to arriving in Ashland, Toohey earned a B.A. degree fromWartburg (Iowa) in the spring of 2005 and accepted a position asdefensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater,which advanced to the NCAA national championship game in the fallof 2005.

A student coach with the Knights in 2004, he returned toWartburg prior to the 2006 season as an assistant defensive linecoach and assistant recruiting coordinator. He played on theoffensive line at Wartburg from 2001 to 2003 and was a member oftwo conference championship teams.

Toohey and his wife Brooke reside in Ashland.
