As a freshman (2015): Gist appeared in all 18 games, starting 11 of them in her rookie season for the Yellow Jackets...She finished the season with five goals and three assists...She recorded a season-high two assists against Cedar Crest (9/5)...Gist tallied 22 shots, 13 of which were on goal.

Personal: Rachel attended Kings Fork High School where she played field hockey, soccer, and swam for the Bulldogs...For field hockey, she was a First Team All-Conference selection in 2013 and 2014 and received Conference Player of the Year accolades in 2014...Rachel was named Second Team All-Conference for soccer in 2014...She was captain of her field hockey team for three seasons and was captain for her soccer team in the 2014-15 season...She was the King's Fork Female Athlete of the Year in 2014-15...Erin was President of the National Honor Society and was a member of the Student Council Association and Young Life...She was the Virginia Girl's State Delegate in 2014 and was named a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar...She intends to major in biology.
