As a junior (’16): Played in all 17 games for R-MC, starting 16 of those at midfield.

As a sophomore (2015): Payne appeared in all 18 games, making 17 starts in her second season in the midfield for R-MC...She tallied the game-winner in the 2-1 victory over Sewanee (10/5)...Payne also registered two defensive saves on the season. 

As a freshman (2014): In her first season as a midfielder for the Yellow Jackets, Payne appeared in 11 games, making her first collegiate start against St. Mary’s (9/23)…She tallied one shot on goal against Virginia Wesleyan (10/22).

Personal: Kaci attended Northumberland high school school where she was a three sport athlete...Payne lettered all four years in both field hockey and softball and lettered once in cross country...In softball, Kaci helped her team claim a regional championship and received Second Team All-District Infield honors in her junior season...In field hockey, Kaci was awarded Defensive Player of the Year during her sophomore year...Payne was elected captain and was named Most Valuable Player during her senior year...Kaci was a member of the Beta Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the SCA.
