GRANVILLE, Ohio. - Randolph-Macon women's golf began the fall portion of its season with a great first round at the Lynn Schweizer Fall Invitational.
Grace Anne Haggerty (Glen Allen, Va./St. Catherine's) led the Yellow Jackets with a -2 (71) and currently is tied for first as an individual. The sophomore totaled four birdies and 12 pars in the round.
Lilly Hall (Yorktown, Va./Liberty University Online Academy) ended the day with a +1 (74) with two birdies and pars on 13 holes. The junior is currently fourth overall as an individual in the tournament.
Alexis Haller (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) finished her opening round with a score of +3 (76) with two birdies and pars on 12 holes. The senior is tied for 10th as an individual in the tournament.
Morgan Mussatt (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) rounded out the scoring group with a +4 (77) in the first round. The senior shot two birdies, shot par on 11 holes and currently sits 16th overall as an individual.
Morghan Lewis (Clarksville, Tenn./Clarksville Academy) led the individuals with a score of four over. The freshman tallied three birdies to highlight her first collegiate round and currently is 16th as an individual. Lewis needs to finish her round tomorrow, as play was suspended at the end of the the round.
Alex DeRee (Dublin, Ohio./Dublin Coffman) ended the round at +9 (82) with two birdies and pars on seven holes. The junior currently sits 31st as an individual.
Audrey Yoong (Ventura, Calif./Foothill Tech) finished the day with a score of +14 (87) and
Ali Field (Fuquay-Varina, N.C. Fuquay-Varina) ended the day at +21 (94) to round out the group.
