Women's Golf Announces Elite National Schedule

ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon Women's Golf is coming off its best season in program history and has its sights set on another successful 2026-27 campaign.
 
Randolph-Macon Women's Golf is coming off a season for the ages. The team won its first Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship since 2014, last season. The Yellow Jackets made its second appearance in program history in the NCAA tournament, finishing 12th overall.

The Lemon and Black will compete on the national scale this upcoming season with nine tournaments in seven different states. The team will be traveling 11,400 miles this upcoming season, adding in both fall and spring tournaments.
 
Randolph-Macon will begin the season in Granville, Ohio to take part in the Lynn Schweizer Invitational to kick off the season. The tournament hosted by Denison University on Sept. 5-6, will have a field of teams representing multiple conferences from the midwest, northeast and south. Randolph-Macon finished first in the tournament last season.
 
The rest of September will see the Yellow Jackets head north to Brunswick, Maine on Sept. 12-13 in the Polar Bear Shootout, hosted by Bowdoin College. The final trip of the month will be to the Tartan Invitational in Farmington, Pennsylvania held at the prestigious Nemacolin Resort. The well known tournament will be hosted by Carnegie Mellon on Sept. 28-29 and will have multiple nationally ranked programs in the field. The Lemon and Black placed sixth in this tough field last season. 
 
Randolph-Macon has two final tournaments in the month of October to conclude the fall portion of its schedule. The team will head back to the west coast to take part in the Hollins Cup in Santa Cruz, California on Oct. 12-13. The Lemon and Black have been invited back to the NCAA DIII Preview held in Williamsburg, Virginia this season. Christopher Newport will play host for the tournament on Oct. 19-20.

The spring portion of the schedule will see Randolph-Macon begin play in Pinehurst, North Carolina in the Centre Spring Invitational on Feb. 20-21. In the month of March, the Yellow Jackets will play at the Savannah Invitational in Savannah, Georgia on Mar. 8-9. The month will end back in the state of Georgia at the well-known Jekyll Invitational in Jekyll Island, Georgia on Mar. 19-21.

Randolph-Macon will conclude its regular season tournament schedule with the Max and Susan Stith Invitational in Glen Allen, Virginia on Apr. 12-13.
 
The Lemon and Black look forward to defending their conference championship from last season at the conference tournament held in Nellysford, Virginia on Apr. 18-20. This season's NCAA DIII Championships will be back in familiar territory, as Williamsburg will be the site to crown the 2026-27 national champions.
