PALM DESERT, Calif. – Randolph-Macon Women's Golf finished up round two by making the cut at the NCAA National Championships at the Desert River Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California with a round score of 311 (+23) to sit 14th on the leaderboard.
Individual Highlights
Morgan Mussatt (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) led the group with the second straight day with a second round score of +2 (74), highlighted by a team lead three birdies on the day. The junior recorded pars on 12 holes and shot even par on the back nine. Mussatt is in 18th place out of 176 individuals in the tournament.
Lilly Hall (Yorktown, Va./Liberty University Online Academy) recorded a second round score of +5 (77) with pars on 10 holes and added two birdies. The sophomore sits in 68th place as an individual with a two round score of +10 (154).
Grace Anne Haggerty (Glen Allen, Va./St. Catherine's) completed the second round with a overall score of +7 (79). The freshman recorded pars on nine holes and added a birdie on the fifth hole. Haggerty has compiled a two round score of +11 (155) and is in 75th place as an individual.
Alexis Haller (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) ended her second round with an overall score of +9 (81) with pars on 10 holes and a clutch birdie on the 17th hole of the round. The junior sits in 80th place as an individual with an overall score of +12 (156).
Elli Flinchum (Summerfield, N.C./Rockingham County) finished the second round of the tournament with a score of +9 (81). The senior totalled pars on seven holes and had a birdie on hole nine. Flinchum has a two round score of +19 (163).
For the Record
For the first time in program history the Yellow Jackets made the two round cut, moving on with the final 15 schools at the NCAA Championships.
