WASHINGTON, Pa. – Randolph-Macon traveled to Washington, Pa to take on Washington & Jefferson, where the match was suspended in the 50th minute and ruled a no contest.

How it Happened

• The Yellow Jackets tested the Presidents' keeper Logan Joseph on a shot from Davian Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville) in the second minute of the match.
• Over the next 20 minutes, RMC continued to apply pressure on the offensive side of the pitch. The Lemon and Black backline held the Presidents to zero shots the rest of the first half, while the Yellow Jackets recorded six. RMC couldn't break through the WJC back line and the teams headed into the break knotted at 0-0.
• Coming out of the break, the Yellow Jackets drew a foul in the box to earn a penalty kick. Damien Jackson (Newport News, Va./Menchville) took the penalty kick and slotted the ball past the WJC keeper Joseph.
• Right after Damien Jackson slotted the penalty kick, the match went into a lightning delay. The match persisted under a lightning delay but was ultimately suspended in the 50th minute, ruled a no contest because the required match time of 70 minutes was not met.
