#12 Women’s Golf Climbs into First After Strong Second Round at ODACs

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's golf used an elite second round to jump into first place of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships, scoring a +6 (294).    

The Yellow Jackets ended the second round with the best team scores on par fives, shooting (+1) and par fours (+28). The team has recorded the most pars (100) and most birdies (25) through two rounds. 

Morgan Mussatt (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) led the group with an impressive -1 (71) second round, shooting pars on 13 holes and added three birdies. The junior jumped into the top overall spot as an individual with a two round score of E (144).  

Grace Anne Haggerty (Glen Allen, Va./St. Catherine's) improved in the second round of the tournament, firing a +2 (74) with four birdies. The freshman moved into a tie for fourth as an individual with a two round score of +7 (151).   

Alexis Haller (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) started the day with an even par (36) front nine, highlighted by two birdies. The junior ended the day with a score of +2 (74), adding one more birdie on the back nine. Haller has recorded a two round score of +7 (151) and is tied in fourth place as an individual. 

Lilly Hall (Yorktown, Va./Liberty University Online Academy) fired an impressive front nine score of -2 (34) with four birdies. The sophomore ended her day with an overall score of +3 (75) with a team high six birdies. Hall has a two round score of +7 (151) and is tied for fourth as an individual.

Elli Flinchum (Summerfield, N.C./Rockingham County) rounded out the group with a second round score of +12 (84) with pars on ten holes. The senior currently sits in 20th place as an individual, shooting a two round score of +19 (163).
