#12 Women's Golf Opens Up Play at the ODAC Championships

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's golf began the opening round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships with a score of +15 (303).    

The Yellow Jackets ended the first round with the best team score on par fives, shooting even par. The team also recorded the second most pars (53) in round one and tallied the third most birdies (9). 
 
Morgan Mussatt (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) led the group with an impressive -1 (35) bogey free front nine. Mussatt ended the back nine with a birdie on hole eighteen, pulling the Yellow Jackets within three shots of current leader Washington and Lee. In the first round she finished with a score of +1 (73) with two birdies, paring on 13 holes and sits second overall as an individual. 

Lilly Hall (Yorktown, Va./Liberty University Online Academy) began her tournament with a front nine score of +3 (39) with pars on seven holes. The sophomore finished with an overall round score of +4 (76) with pars on 13 holes, a birdie and sits fifth as an individual.  

Grace Anne Haggerty (Glen Allen, Va./St. Catherine's) shot a +4 (40) on the front nine to begin her first ODAC tournament. The freshman recorded two birdies to highlight her opening nine. Haggerty ended the first round shooting a +5 (77) with a team-high three birdies, adding pars on seven holes and sits tied for seventh as an individual.  

Alexis Haller (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) fired a front nine score of +2 (38) with two birdies. The junior ended her day with an overall score of +5 (77) with two birdies, pars on ten holes and is tied for seventh as an individual. 

Elli Flinchum (Summerfield, N.C./Rockingham County) started her first round with a +3 (39) on the front nine with pars on six of the nine holes. The senior completed her first round with a score of +7 (79), recording one birdie and pars on ten holes. Flinchum is fourteenth as an individual.
