FARMVILLE, Va. – The Yellow Jackets took games in two of the three doubles matches, along with in five of their six singles matches, to wrap up play in 2026.

Doubles
Jayden Alexander (Newport News, Va./Menchville) and
Harris Wadsworth (Lake Wales, Fla./Lake Wales) led the way for their squad, earning two games at the third doubles slot. First doubles saw
Evan Holzmacher (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and
Karsten Palmer (Swepsonville, N.C./River Mill) take a game, while
John Paul Zano (Chesapeake, Va./Great Bridge) and
Winston Chapman (Hampton, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) rounded out play at second doubles.

Singles
Zano paced the Yellow Jackets at first singles, as the freshman was able to extend his match to a tiebreaker. Despite dropping the contest 6-2, 1-6, 0-1 (4-10), he has forced greater than two sets in two of his past three matches, including a win in his last three-set match. Alexander finished play at sixth singles with a 1-6, 4-6 score, finishing second on his team with five games won. Wadsworth joined them as the only RMC players to take games in both sets, while Palmer took two total games and Chapman stole one.
