FOREST, Va. – Kody Rogan (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) piloted a Randolph-Macon team that recorded three sweeps this past week, helping him earn his fifth-career ODAC weekly award and his second of the season.
The Yellow Jackets posted a 3-0 win on the road against Eastern Mennonite, before beating both Shenandoah and Averett at home in straight sets.
Against the Royals, Rogan led the match with 36 assists, while also adding eight points, five kills and three blocks. With his 36 assists in the contest, Rogan surpassed 3,000 in his career. The senior now has a program record 3,078 assists, as the match marked his fourth-straight with 35-or-more assists.
In the game one contest against Shenandoah, Rogan led the match in assists (30) and digs (nine), while also tallying a block. This match marked his fifth consecutive contest with 30-or-more assists. Furthermore, thanks to his efforts, Randolph-Macon earned a 13-0 record in conference play, marking a single-season conference-high in wins.
To round out the week, Rogan posted six assists, three blocks and a kill in one set against Averett. In set one against the Cougars, RMC won with a score of 25-5, marking the largest point differential in any set this season (20 points). Furthermore, after completing play over the weekend, Rogan's offense helped his team clinch the #1 seed in the ODAC Tournament.
The setter has 189 service aces in his career, slotting him second on the NCAA active career leaders list. Additionally, his 3,078 career assists ranks sixth among active NCAA student-athletes. The senior also ranks 17th in the country this season with his total assist mark (781). Rogan is also first in the conference in service aces (38) and service aces per set (.48), while ranking second in the ODAC in assists (781) in 2026.
This week, the Lemon and Black welcome Bridgewater to Ashland, Va., for their last home contest of the regular season. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1.
