GLEN ALLEN, Va. - Randolph-Macon women's golf is in action to host the Max and Susan Stith Invitational, currently sitting in fourth place in a 16-team field.
The tournament field is represented by three of top-10 programs in the country and totaled ten programs in the top-40.
Grace Anne Haggerty (Glen Allen, Va./St. Catherine's) led the team in the second round of the day, firing an even par (72) and went -1 (35) on the back nine. The freshman completed the two round day with an overall score of +7 (151). Haggerty tallied a team high six birdies and shot par on 21 holes in two rounds. She sits tied for 12th out of 84 individuals.
Alexis Haller (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate School) finished the two round day at +7 (151), sitting tied for 12th as an individual. The junior finished the day with an impressive second round, firing a +1 (73) and shot even par on the back nine. Haller recorded five birdies and pars on 20 holes in two rounds.
Morgan Mussatt (Henrico, Va./Mills Godwin) completed first day of the tournament, firing off a +8 (152) day. The junior began the day with an even par (72) in the opening round. Mussatt tallied five birdies and pars on 19 holes in two rounds. Mussatt sits tied for 16th as an individual.
Lilly Hall (Yorktown, Va./Liberty University Online Academy) ended the first day with a score of +10 (154), sitting tied for 22nd overall as an individual. The sophomore finished the second round with an overall score of +3 (75) and shot -1 (35) on the back nine. Hall recorded two birdies and shot par on 22 holes in two rounds.
Elli Flinchum (Summerfield, N.C./Rockingham County) finished the day with an overall score of +19 (163). The senior ended the two round day with three birdies and pars on 18 holes.
Alex DeRee (Dublin, Ohio./Dublin Coffman) completed her two round day at +22 (166) with one birdie and pars on 15 holes. The sophomore was one of four players to record an eagle on the day.
Mary Kathryn Topping (Midlothian, Va./Maggie Walker Govenor's School) ended the first day with a score of +26 (170) with one birdie and pars on 16 holes overall.
Ali Field (Fuquary-Varina, N.C./Faquary-Varina) rounded out the team with a two round score of +47 (191).
