FOREST, Va. – Junior
Brady Plucker (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) of Randolph-Macon Men's Volleyball has collected his second-career ODAC weekly honor, after earning the second conference defensive player of the week of his career.
Plucker helped the Yellow Jackets win two of their three matches this past week, including their 11th sweep of 2026.
Randolph-Macon defeated Roanoke in straight sets for its fourth conference sweep of the 2026 campaign, as Plucker racked up a match and career-high 24 digs. The mark against the Maroons is the most in any ODAC contest in the past two seasons and the most in any three-set match in Division III this year. Against Eastern Mennonite, Plucker's match-high six digs and his three assists piloted the Lemon and Black to yet another sweep. Despite a 3-1 loss against #6 Messiah, the libero tied for a team-high five digs, totaling 35 on the week.
The junior currently has 129 digs on the season, averaging a career-high 2.53 digs per set, slotting him at No. 3 in the ODAC in both categories.
The Yellow Jackets have their next match against Marymount, after defeating them 3-1 during the Macon Invitational in January. The match is slated for Tuesday, March 3 at 6:00 p.m. in Arlington, Va.
