LEXINGTON, Ky. – After debuting in The American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Poll for the second time in program history, RMC continues its streak of receiving votes.
 
The Lemon and Black won three matches this past week, earning their ninth sweep of the 2026 campaign. The Yellow Jackets defeated Randolph in straight sets for its second conference sweep of the 2026 season in their midweek matchup. Over the weekend, RMC hosted Virginia Wesleyan and Stevenson, defeating both programs 3-0. Thanks to the impressive three-match run, Randolph-Macon now leads the ODAC in hitting percentage (.291) and service aces (83). Furthermore, it ranks second in the conference in points per set (16.01) and blocks per set (2.24).
 
Extending back to the 2025 season, the Yellow Jackets have won 18 of their last 20 regular season matches. Additionally, the 2026 Yellow Jackets are 12-2 though their first 14 matches of the season, marking the best start to a season in program history.
 
This weekend, RMC will travel to Roanoke on Wednesday, February 25 for its next match, before hosting Eastern Mennonite and Messiah on Saturday, February 28.
