Randolph-Macon Takes Games in All Doubles Matches During Morning Contest

ASHLAND, Va. – The Yellow Jackets earned games in each of the three doubles matches, including three-or-more games won in two of the matches, during the morning battle against Johnson & Wales.

Doubles
 
The pairings of John Paul Zano (Great Bridge, Va./Chesapeake) and Winston Chapman (Hampton, Va./Norfolk Collegiate), as well as Harris Wadsworth (Lake Wales, Fla./Lake Wales) and Caleb Privett (Fort Chiswell, Va./Fort Chiswell) each won three games in their matches to lead the Yellow Jackets. Evan Holzmacher (Chesterfield, Va./Manchester) and Karsten Palmer (Swepsonville, N.C./River Mill) also stole a game to give RMC games won in each of the three matches.

The Lemon and Black saw Jayden Alexander (Newport News, Va./Menchville) win a team-high six games in his match at sixth singles, including five games won in his second set. Including Alexander, the home squad took at least one game in five of the six matches, with Zano and Palmer taking five and four games at first and second singles, respectively.
